Dr. Chenoa

Lead DVM

Dr. Chenoa Schwenn-Foster is a 2021 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine and is originally from a small town in southwest Missouri. She loves the variety that veterinary medicine brings and especially enjoys the opportunity to care for a wide range of animals. One of Dr. Schwenn-Foster’s favorite parts of being a veterinarian is building relationships with the people she meets through her work. She genuinely enjoys getting to know her clients, hearing about their lives, and learning all about the pets who mean so much to them. She believes that getting to know both the pet and the person behind the pet helps make veterinary care more personal and meaningful. Dr. Schwenn-Foster is AVCA-certified in veterinary chiropractic and enjoys incorporating her additional training into the care she provides. Outside of the clinic, she stays busy with her own little hobby farm, which is home to chickens, ducks, a dairy goat, a dairy cow, horses, dogs, and cats.

Veterinary Assistant

Hi! I'm Emmasue, a vet assistant here at R Veterinary. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies, hamsters, and everything in between. I quickly learned the love they can provide for us, and knew early on that I wanted to spend my life doing the same for them. My favorite part of working for this clinic is the close connections I can form with pets and owners alike. I can’t wait to meet you!

Lexi

Veterinary Technician

Lexi has been working professionally with animals since she was 14, and her love for veterinary medicine has continued to grow ever since. She is currently a pre-veterinary student at the University of Missouri and has been part of the R Veterinary team for more than two years. At home, Lexi is surrounded by animals of her own, with two cats and two dogs who keep her busy and remind her every day why she chose this path. She enjoys learning from every patient and experience along the way as she works toward her goal of becoming a veterinarian.

Heather

Veterinary Assistant

Heather has been with R Veterinary as a Veterinary Assistant since 2024. She has known from an early age that she wanted a career with animals.She spends her spare time at the barn with her 2 horses, going to car shows, or staying home with her 3 dogs and 2 cats. You may also find her laying on the floor with the dogs that require a days stay with the clinic.

Danielle

Veterinary Technician

Danielle has been with R Veterinary as a DA since Oct of 25. She has been around animals the entirety of her life. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys piddling around on her hobby farm, fishing, hiking, reading and cuddling with her 3 elderly rescue dogs. She prides herself on the gentle care and love she gives every animal that comes through our doors and treats them as if they were her own, with all the love possible.

Andrew

Reception

Andrew is a Missouri native with a background in administration and a life-long love of cats. Dogs are fine, but cats are better. Andrew spends his free time bass fishing and volunteering for animal rescue organizations. He shares his home with his three cats, a tank full of fish, and usually a foster animal or two.
